My laptop has a Intel CPU, an I9 13900H, and it overheats easily. When booting up it reaches 100 celsius and even after getting a better thermal paste and all that, refrigerating base etc, still the same problem. Then I tried to format my PC and still, same problem, even with nothing booting up besides the OS. It was bought around feb 2024 and since then I had that problem but it wasnt until now that it started showing real problems. Now, even on low stress like only Opera running the cpu overheats and it gets limited to 0,4 GHz until it cools down, but it never does, so in order to cool it down I need to restart the pc and stay on the desktop for a long time and then I can use it for about half an hour before it overheats again. At this point, with no warranty, I am thinking about buying a new laptop and sell this one (ofc not hp nor intel again). If anyone had this issue and could solve it please help. Also some fixes I tried (besides those mentioned): firmware, drivers, etc updates, limitin cpu usage to 100% minumum and a lot of other stuff. Also the motherboard has no support to turn off PCHOT or undervolting, nor changing the cpu clock. Specs: Intel envy I9 13900H, 4060, 16 ram and 1 tb ssd

Clean the fan blades of dust and ensure that there is no obstruction (dust buildup) in the fins of the cooling solution.

You could use an Amazon essential laptop stand to increase the airflow.
Dos turning the fan to "always on" in BIOS help?
