Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15t-eg000 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15t-eg000 CTO with the 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz upgrade. I'm trying to enable Intel® VT-x with Extended Page Tables (EPT) virtualization, I have upgraded the BIOS to F40 version and virtualization is enabled but the feature is not working.

I want the check your current system configuration.

 

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

- copy/paste to following key/values pairs:

 

OS Name

Version

System Model

System SKU ( equals HP product number (p/n) )

BIOS Version/Date

 

(2) What software and version are you running for VT ?


(3) Please report your results

I downloaded and installed the drivers as stated but there was no change to my system. Maybe I was not as clear in my first post. I'm not trying to run Windows 11 in VMWare Workstation. The issue occurs when trying to run the GNS3 VM for their 2.2.33.1 version of software.  When I try to start the VM it says that VT-x is not supported.
