Hello,

I keep getting error message "Intel dual band wireless AC 7260 is experiencing driver or hardware problems" and it will not connect to the internet.  Did a diagnostic test and the network test gave back this message:

I performed the network test and it gave back this message:

UEFI Networking does not appear to be supported or enabled on the system Please check the BIOS setting to make sure UEFI network options ROMS are enabled and that UEFI network boot is enabled.

Not sure if this means anything, it did not test the Intel Wireless card but keeps giving error message that Intel Wirelss AC 7260 is experiencing driver or hardware problems.

Please help as the computer will not connect to theinternet  Does this message have anything to do with the Intel wireless card not working?  and How can I fix it?

thank you

Welcome back to HP Forums.

I have gone through your Post and I understand your concerns

May I know since when are you facing this issue?

Is the WiFi Adapter getting detected in Device Manager?

If the WiFi Card is not getting detected in device Manager, then it means the Notebook is not recognizing the card

I suggest you attempt a BIOS default and check again in Device Manager

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.

  2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.

  3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.

  4. Press F10 to Save and Exit.

  5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?

  6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you and have a great day 😊
