Product: HP Omen 15
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
Hello, I have a HP Omen 15 laptop (intel 7700 HQ + Nvidia 1050ti). Installed Windows 8.1, everything works fine, except the driver for Intel dynamic platform and thermal framework cannot be installed.

Can somebody provide the driver for intel DPTF for windows 8.1? Thanks.

What is the complete product name or product number of your notebook?

 

At the moment you have only identified it as being part of a model series and that is not specific enough.

 

I identify my 2018 HP product loan as an HP Spectre x360-15-ch0xx model. With that information I can easily find any required drivers.

Was Windows 8.1 the operating system the Omen was delivered with or did you install it?

 

I am only aware of HP supplying drivers for Windows 10 for the Omen  15-ax200 series notebooks.

HP does not support Windows 8.1 or supply the associated drivers for your notebook.

 

Intel does supply chipset device software (Windows 8.1) for the HM175 chipset.  It should install the framework that you need.

There is also an Intel Driver & Support Assistant utility which should also help you locate the proper driver and framework if the attempt with the previous device software did not help.
