HP ProBook 640 G2 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Some Probook 640 G2 and G3 models came with an internal DVD drive. Can an internal DVD drive be installed in one of these models if it came without one? I need a 14" laptop with internal DVD drive to use during medical treatments but am having trouble finding one with all the features I want. I can find them with everything but the DVD drive so if I can be assured that I can have one installed, I'd be set.

You need to install Optical drive board before you can add the ODD hardware itself. Depending on your machine, you can use part # 840745-001 or part # 840746-001
