Product: Example: HP Notebook 17-by1033dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Notebook 17-by1033dx.  A DVD writer, GUE1N, is installed.  I would like to find a replacement DVD writer with Lightscribe to replace my existing  DVD writer.  Is there any such internal DVD writer available and, if so, what is the manufacturer's name and model number?  Many thanks for all comments/suggestions!

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 9.0 mm tray load - SATA - ƭxed DVD+/-RW Double-Layer Writer installed on the PC.

  • Optical drive board L22540-001 Optical drive board cable L22524-001
