My HP laptop froze while I was working, so I force-restarted it by holding the power button. After that it got stuck in an automatic repair loop at the HP logo. I tried reinstalling Windows 11 using a USB, but my internal SSD doesn’t show up during installation. Any idea what might have happened and how to fix this?

If your notebook has an Intel Core 11th, 12th or 13th processor, the Windows installer needs Intel storage drivers to display the storage drive. What is the exact model number or product number of your notebook?

Since your model has an Intel Core 11th gen processor, the Windows installer needs to have Intel RST storage drivers to detect the SSD drive to install Windows on.

Your system also has Intel Optane memory. You can follow the instructions in the post below for the RST storage driver installation.

You can also use HP Cloud Recovery Tool to create a recovery usb drive that will restore the drive to a factory state. Click the link below for how to use the recovery tool.

I did all the IRST driver   step and everything well but when i near this step to (Find and select an 'iaStorVD.inf ' file and click Next to load the driver.) i did not see the next option there only an install option so i click install and them it is stuck on the same screen like 2 minutes and the it just went back saying there is a problem and went to restart option

Sounds like the Windows installer got some type of glitch. When you navigated to the F6 folder and clicked OK, you should've seen at least two .inf driver files as shown below and you could've clicked Next to load the driver to display the drive.

Perhaps, you can redownload media creation tool and create a new Windows installation usb drive and try again. If the problem persists, use a different usb drive. You just need a minimum 8 GB usb drive.

If you still have the issue, you may try HP Cloud Recovery Tool to create a bootable recovery usb drive that will install HP factory image on the drive. You need a 32 GB USB drive for this.
