Since this seems to be the only means for product support... What, if any, Wifi 6e cards are available for my atrocious 15-EF2099NR? I've tried... more than a couple.

HP didn't offer any Wi-Fi 6E cards in the model series and if you have been trying Intel Wi-Fi 6E cards, those won't work.

Your notebook only has one antenna wire connected to the RTL8821CE Wi-Fi card that it comes with, and from what I can tell, the only other card I could find that was used in the model series is the RTL8852AE Wi-Fi 6 card which needs two antenna wires in order to work properly.

If you have not tried this card, this would be the only Wi-Fi 6 card I can think of that might have any chance of working in your notebook:

Thanks for the follow up. Yeah, I tried the Intel AX210, Qualcomm QCNFA265, and the Realtek RTL8852CE. I added official HP drivers for the Intel and Realtek cards without any luck. Bluetooth works with all 3 cards but it appears as though the bios is locked to the OEM card only for WIFI purposes. While the antenna limitation is a good excuse, adding / replacing antennas is not difficult. Furthermore, modern WiFi chipsets are way less reliant on physical antennas than their predecessors. It’s thinly veiled planned obsolescence and a strong stance against right to repair. While I’m sure they’re totally indifferent to it, I’ll never purchase another HP product again. Thanks for the help Mr. Tikkanen!
