HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi! I have a Spectre for a couple of months and the battery life is already getting shorter.

With an internal battery, what's the best care: charge it and then unplug the laptop to let it drain or keep the laptop plugged? Will keeping it plugged damage the battery? (as the battery is internal I'm not able to remove it and I use the laptop mostly at home...)

It was much easier with an external battery that I could remove...

Thanks!

To get the answer to this question, These batteries cannot be overcharged, which means that as soon as they are 100% charged, they stop charging. These batteries stop receiving energy which is bypassed directly to your laptop's power supply. So, keeping it plugged in won't harm your battery and cause much difference to the overall battery life.
