Hello everyone,
I bought my HP notebook (HP Envy x360 convertible , core i5 6200u 2.3 GHz//8 GB RAM//128 GB SSD//1 TB HDD//win 10 64 bit etc...) from Saudi Arabia and brought to India. Currently I am residing in india. My problem is that my laptop falled down accidentally from my hand and damaged a small portion of display. Now the touch function is only working on half side of the display and other half side touch function is not working. My question is that Will i get international warrant & accidental damage protection? Or Will I get warranty services in India? Manufacturer Warranty is remaining 45 days. Pls reply ASAP...Thnx in advance...

Hi,
From my understanding and experiences: no, you have to buy separately.
Factory warranty works the same way like nearly all products, from few dollars to millions dollars. We have to pay insurance (HP calls this as Care pack or similar terms) to cover anything out of factory warranty.
Regards.

Hi,
Please contact HP in India first but most likely they will ask you to contact machine to Saudi Arabia for repair because
"HP Global Warranty covers HP products at the level of standard warranty offered in the country in which it is used. For example, a product purchased in country "A" and moved to country "B" receives the current warranty coverage provided by country "B" (if that product is marketed or supported in country B).".
