International warranty for a notebook bought in Malaysia

Hello,

I want to buy a HP Specter X360 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. But I plan to use it in Thailand.

Unfortunately, sales assistants say different things. The majority of them says that this laptop has a global warranty for selected countries (including Thailand) for the first year of warranty, but others say that it has only local coverage.

So, does this Malaysian laptop has coverage in Thailand and other counties of the region, or not?

I can't buy it, if I don't know the exact terms.
