Product: HP 15-ba052wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to speed up my laptop by upgrading the CPU and the Ram. I know that a RAM upgrade is possible for this model but not sure about the processor (I'm not a tech guy). I like to upgrade this to a Radeon 7 kind but not sure if that is supported for this motherboard and I have no idea about any specific CPU modules that fit my machine.

Any suggestion would help.

 

Processor: AMD A10-9600P Radeon R5

Socket FP4 (968)

Ram: 8GB (DDR4 x 2)

Hi:

 

The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded unless you replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.

Thank you for the reply. I did went through the document and it looks like i am already using the best motherboard this machine supports. I can upgrade it to AMD A12 but then I am gonna lose the touch screen which is a bummer for me.
