Is Corsair Vengeance Performance SODIMM Memory 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 compatible with my hp 15s du2077tu?

Your HP Laptop - 15s-du2077tu (172U3PA), according to: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15s-du2077tu, can be upgraded with up to 2 x 32GB of DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks. You could use 3200 MHz (PC4-25600) DDR4 RAM, but it will down throttle to 2666 MHz as per: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06703864.

 

Anyway, to answer your question: "is Corsair Vengeance Performance SODIMM Memory 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 compatible with your laptop?" Yes, it likely is.  However, you really want to avoid Corsair Vengeance RAM. I am saying this as nicely as I am capable of. Reason being that this RAM will get stuck at its default ("SPD") RAM speed, probably 2133 MHz.

 

Rather, buy any other quality laptop DDR4 2666 or 3200 MHz 260-pin RAM, such as Crucial, Samsung, Timetec, Silicon Power (SP), etc.  Take a look here what RAM sticks HP Laptop 15s- du2xxx Users have installed: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-Laptop-15s-du2xxx/190723.
