Planning to Upgrade/add SSD Drive to my  HP-Pavilion 15-cc563st. Can I just add M.2 SSD drive without removing existing HDD or I need to upgrade with SSD drive by removing existing one? 

Or Is there any limitions for Upgrading to SDD or M.2 SSD Drive ?

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I checked the specifications of your computer and I see that your computer supports SSD and you can go ahead and install an SSD.

 

Please refer to the below service guide (Page 2) for your computer for more information.

Thanks for the clarification !!!

 

Planning to install M.2 1tb SSD, service manual only suggest up to 512gb. Can I install 1tb, will it support? or I can't install more than 512gb. Please suggest. Thank you in advance!!!

I'm Raj1788 & I'm at your service. 

 

The tested SSD is 512, however, you can go ahead and install 1TB SSD but at his own risk.

HP cannot confirm whether it will work or not.

Then I will not go for 1TB, will install 500GB. Is Samsung 500GB 860 EVO SATA III M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-N6E500BW)  https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-860-evo-m-2-sata-500gb-mz... is compatibale or need any other SSD?

 

please suggest compatible SSDs if there are any

You tested SSD is 512, however, you can go ahead and install 1TB SSD of any brand but at your own risk.
