Here is your Service Manual which answers most of these questions but its not easy to read if you are not familiar with them:
If you open the back panel you see this inside:
M.2 slot = red memory under cover in green rectangle
According to the specs I have seen it already is coming with a 256 gig NVME M.2 SSD. This model can also have a standard 2.5 inch hard drive but you would need to buy extra mounting hardware to install one. You could install a larger M.2 if you wish but these days with the cloud and all 256 gigs is really enough for most people and you will have the fastest kind of storage its possible to get right now. The laptop should be very very fast.
The memory is under a metal shield shown in the green box in the picture above. You have a single 8 gig module and would have an open slot. The Manual says 12 gigs (8 + 4) is the maximum but in fact you could install up to 32 gigs or 2 x 16 gig DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM. Personally I think adding another 8 gig module such as this would be plenty:
You will not have Office 365 installed. You may get a 30 day trial but eventually you have to buy it. I would search the internet for a coupon as you can get the license very cheap if you spend a litle time on it. They sell it now on a monthly subscription model and you can likely find it for like 5 bucks a month. You will need a Micrsoft account which is free to sign up for and is a good idea to have if you are going to be using a Windows 10 laptop. Don't simply activate the trial and then pay for it through the trial app when the trial expires. This will be the most expensive way to buy. I delete the trial version then get a Key Code from some cheap source and then go to the Office 365 install site and install using the Key Code.
Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
