Product: Example: 1000-1401AU
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

My laptop is hp 1000 - 1401AU model. Windows 8 not 8.1.

Will it support MU06XL battery for replacement?

So what are you asking? I understand what laptop you have and what battery it came with. The one you linked is an OEM exact replacement. Obviously that would work. Which MU06XL are you considering? And why?

Either of these batteries will work:

 

(20) Battery:
6-cell, 55-Whr, 2.55-Ah Li-ion battery 593554-001
6-cell, 47-Whr, 2.20-Ah Li-ion battery 593553-001

By MU06XL I think you mean the thicker version that bulges out. It's not officially supported but would work.

Yes. MU06 is probably the most common laptop battery ever made. The MU06XL will plug in and work on your laptop.
