Hi:

 

Only the 15-ay0xx notebooks that came with a M.2 SATA SSD have a M.2 slot and none of the 15-ay0xx notebooks support NVMe SSD's.

 

If you want to upgrade to a SSD, you will need to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5' SATA SSD.

 

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
