Is RAM for HP 15 Notebook PC 15-r202tx expandable? I have 4GB and want to add 4GBmore

Hi,

 

Your PC supports max 16GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM (2x8GB)

 

There are 2 slots and at the moment you have one stick of 4GB in one slot. So you can add another 4GB stick in the empty slot.

 

On page 76 of service manual you can see the steps to replace RAM which is not real easy in your model as you need to remove the system board to get to the slots
