HP 16-c0709nz Notebook

Hello Community

Is the Samsung SATA M.2 V-Nand SSD EVO 860 compatible with the HP 16-c0709nz Notebook M2 Slots?

In the HP Replacement Video are "NVMe" showed... Like this: HP SSD 1 TB SSD TLC M.2 PCI-e 3x4 NVMe

I want to use this:  Samsung 860 EVO, 2000 GB, M.2 2280 (i bought them I while a go..)

Is it possible?

Thanks in advance

The Service Manual only lists PCie/NVME M.2 as being offered by HP. Since we do not get deep details on the design of the motherboard its hard to say if a SATA would work. We know of other models where Users have tried SATA M.2 without success. Generally the newer the laptop the more likely it is NVME only. In other words, all we can tell you is you got nothing to lose trying it other than time and effort. I give it 50/50. Sorry can't be more specific.
