Hi everyone,

I’m trying to understand the performance differences between Intel UHD Graphic 620 and Iris Xe graphics on HP laptops. I’m considering upgrading or choosing a new laptop and want to know how much of a performance boost I might get with Iris Xe compared to UHD Graphics 620.

Can anyone shed some light on:

  1. Performance Differences: How does the performance of Iris Xe compare to UHD Graphics 620, especially in everyday tasks and gaming?
  2. Real-World Usage: Are there noticeable improvements in tasks like video editing or 3D rendering with Iris Xe?
  3. Value for Upgrade: Is it worth opting for a laptop with Iris Xe over one with UHD Graphics 620 if budget allows?

Thanks for your insights!

They are 2 different generation, please check the following test

You can NOT simply do a swap to upgrade. Most likely you have to buy a different machine.

Regards.
