Hi all,
I'm thinking of upgrading the SSD in the ZBook Firefly 14" G11 to a Samsung 990 PRO with heatsink but not sure if it will fit in the chassis. Does anybody know (perhaps from experience with the ZBook Firefly 14" G10) whether the chassis will cope with the Samsung plsu heatsink or if it fits any other hard drive with heatsink that meets the PCI-SIG D8 standard.
Thanks

1TB or 2TB of Samsung 990 PRO SSD with heatsink is ok but 4TB is too thick.
Regards.

Thanks @Banhien
Is this something you have tried? The Samsung documentation I have found implies all 990 PRO models with heatsinks are the same size.
On their website (https://semiconductor.samsung.com/us/consumer-storage/internal-ssd/990-pro-with-heatsink/) under General Features, it implies for all models:
DIMENSION (WxHxD)
- 80.15 x 25 x 8.88mm (with heatsink)
I also got this quote from the 2023 datasheet rev.3.0:
"The max dimensions of the 990 PRO with Heatsink with heatsink are 80.15 mm [L] x 25 mm [W] x 8.88 mm"
