Hi:
Most likely it is the consumer class version of the 250 G7, so it is not exactly the same.
Apparently they also share the same BIOS.
If you look on the support pages for both, the latest BIOS update is F.30...sp105678
It uses the same service video gallery too.

That is correct.
Here's the difference...the 250 G7 support page may contain more recent drivers later down the road.
HP tends to support the business class notebooks with updated drivers a little longer than the consumer models.
The other difference is the 15-da0012dx comes with the Realtek RTL8723DE single band wifi adapter, and the 250 G7 would have at a minimum, the Realtek RTL8821CE dual band AC adapter.
I don't believe any 250 G7's come with single band wifi adapters.
My 255 G7 (AMD equivalent of the 250 G7), has the RTL8821CE AC card.
