HP 17 Laptop PC 17-c2000 (4V793AV)

Hey, I just wanted to know if the battery in my HP 17 laptop is upgradeable. It barely lasts 3 hours on battery saver on full charge, and I would like to know if there is any way to improve internally by replacing the battery.

The standalone battery use time for a new 17" laptop is roughly 3-3.5 hours.

If your battery has been in use for a few years, you can replace the battery and get 3-3.5 hours on balanced power use.

Thanks, but I also have another question. Is there a way to buy a better battery and upgrade in my laptop. I am asking if there are any better versions of the battery I have currently, and if there was a way for my to replace my current battery with one that would last at least 5-6 hours

HP Recommended

Unfortunately there is no "upgrade" for the battery.

The only battery for the laptop is the OEM HP part numbered one.

Battery (3 cell, 41 Whr) L97300-005

Some of the newer 17" laptops  with the most recent Intel processors get longer battery use times.

Yours will be 3-3.5 hours of standalone battery use.
