Hello, I have a HP laptop, to be more specific it is this one 14-bs018la, it's an old one but i'd like to put it to good use, the thing is the battery is damaged and I need to find a new one, i've been searching for a new battery but none of the ones I've seen are HP original, all I can seem to find are generic ones, so my question would be, is there a way to find a new original battery or should just give up on my search and just get a generic one?

As long as the battery has the HP part number it won't matter. The HP part number is a specification.
Do make certain that is has a one year warranty.
