The answer to the second part of your question is no -- HP does not do equipment upgrades.  You have to order the options you want when you buy it.

 

As to the keyboard, if there is an alternative available, it will show up in the parts list when you use this link:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-dv6-6c00-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/5191856/m...

 

I would advise against attempting to change the keyboard yourself; instead, you need to look into having a local laptop repair facility do that for you -- but get an estimate in advanced because there can be a lot of work involved with the newer laptops.
