Hi,

It is possible. However, the keyboard is one part with the top cover and will probably be quite expensive. To replace, you need to completely dismantle the computer (remove all parts and place them in the new top cover).

The part number for the backlit keyboard/top cover is L24752-001

You can search online with part number

Example:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=L24752-001&_sacat=0

As the service manual says "The top cover with keyboard remains after removing all other spared parts from the computer"

so you will need to look at all the disassembly procedures to replace the keyboard.

Hope it helps,

Hello, for install a backlight keyboard, you need to have the good connector on your motherboard. You have one connector for non-backlight and 2 connectors for backlight keyboard.

If you want to know if you have the connector, you need to disassemble your laptop for check if you have this connector. In this laptop, you can read in page 78 of your maintenance's manual you need to disassemble all your laptop:

"The top cover with keyboard remains after removing all other spared parts from the computer."

If you want to do this operation, you can use this maintenance manual to help you:
