I tried with a couple of docking stations that we have here at the office but none of those worked

  • has (2) Thunderbolt™ 4 with USB Type-C® 40 Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)  ports
  • and use 200W or 150W charger (depending on the video card).

My answer is Yes, depending on OUTPUT wattage rating of those docks you can charge it thru the dock

 

HP has 280W Thunderbolt™ 4. I believe your current docks are too weak (wattage ratings).
