So I'm looking into buying a VR system. however they require a very strong computer, and those can be very expensive. I found the Wolfe Laptop Supercharger, and it boosts your computer through an external source. The problem is that it uses a thunderbolt connection to connect to your computer. I'm trying to find anyway to use it on my current laptop, before going out and buying a new apple computer. I currently have the HP Pavilion 15 - ab200 Notebook (touch) and need an adapter or dock to be able to connect it to a thunderbolt cable. Any information helps, thanks. Interesting. No. Your laptop has no port to which you could attach anything that would convert to Thunderbolt 2 or Thunderbolt 3. If you tried to connect to USB 3.0 for example, then you would be choked by the bandwidth of the USB 3.0 which is less than Thunderbolt. It has to be a laptop that has a Thunderbolt port natively.

Hi,

Your machine does not have Thunderbolt port. On our markets today, I have not seen an adapter which supports USB to Thunderbolt but I can see many another way around adapters.

My answer is: If you could find an adapter then your machine should support this.

Regards.
