Hi, I’d like to know, is it possible to add an SSD to this laptop, and keep hdd in place or not? And what kind of SATA controller is there SATA 2 or 3? Thank you!

I recommend the brander Crucial so you can try this test to verify if the Crucial P1 is compatible with your PC: http://crucial.com/usa/en/systemscanner

Hello, it is appears to be possible, see page 3 of your maintenance manual:

You can install m.2 SATA SSD or m.2 PCIe NVMe (better).
For this you need to remove your DVD writer (page 35), your bottom cover (pages 39 and 40) and page 47 you can see the slot.
