Hello! I recently upgraded my RAM and want to upgrade my HDD. My question is if there is a compatible SSD that would work with my laptop HP Pavilion x360 m3-u001dx (SN: [Personal Information Removed]). Here is a picture of the motherboard to see if that helps.

Your picture shows a SATA HDD, which can be replaced with a (much faster) SATA SSD. Your model does not have an M.2 NVMe SSD slot.
The manual shows how to replace your drive on pages 42-44: HP Pavilion x360 m3 (model numbers m3-u100 through m3-u199, m13-u100 through m13-u199, m3-u000 throu... and here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xPh0hBTX8A.
When you replace your old HDD, you'll have to reinstall Windows 10 on the SSD, either by using your HP recovery disk (assuming you have it), migrating an image or by downloading Microsoft's media creation tool. Do this before you replace your HDD or on different PC, and then create a bootable flash drive with W10 on it. Then use this drive to perform a clean install of Windows.

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!
Yes, you can: any capacity SATA SSD 2.5" would fit, such as shown here (look under "Storage"): HP - Compaq Pavilion x360 M3 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com.
And you can upgrade up to 2 x 8GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks, but may be down throttled to 2133 MHz (see: Intel Core i36100U Processor 3M Cache 2.30 GHz Product Specifications).

Idk if this is a dumb question but where would I connect the SSD? The only connection to the motherboard is that purple ribbon cable. Would the SSD have this ribbon cable? And the higher the memory capacity, the "faster" the computer can be? Or are there other limitations that I should know about?
