Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am in Canada and have an HP 14 cf1020ca Notebook and want to install an SSD as the eMMC has very little storage. Is it possible to upgrade this device? If so, is there a recommended SSD and vendor?

No on your model the eMMC is part of the motherboard. You may have an M.2 slot, but where an eMMC is present, the M.2 slot is disabled. Having said that, the parts list includes this:

eMMC board (use for 2nd solid-state drive installation) L23397-001

I think perhaps you can add a second storage drive into the 2.5 inch bay but the eMMC is always going to be the bootdisk. At least you have 64 gigs not 32. You can have extra storage more easily with an SD card.
