I would like to upgrade the cpu on my elite book 840 G2, is that possible?

Currently I have Intel Core i5-5200 2.20Ghz

Hi,

 

Sorry, it is not possible to upgrade the CPU as it comes integrated in the motherboard (soldered) . You would need to replace the motherboard and all the components integrated on it which would cost more than new PC.

 

On page 97 of service manual you can see list of motherboards
