Product: HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab114no
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This notebook has A10-8700p processor and it should support up to 2133mhz.
I am trying to find out if this laptop bios allows it or is it crippled and limited like other AMD devices HP sells?

Do any HP AMD proccessor pre-ryzen laptops have memory work over DDR3-1600 speeds?

 

For this specific laptop I already found that the service manual only mentions DDR3L-1600 but I am hoping it may be wrong?

The processor alone won't work. It has communicate with other components. Please let me tell a very simple example. You have a racing car and it must run on regulated roads therefore you can't run its full speed.
