Is it safe to remove battery when laptop is running?.. i mean sudden switch off will affect its components?
My hard drives or system gets corrupted? anything like that sort? please advice me

The idea is don't kill the power. Don't remove the battery if it is running only on battery and don't pull the plug if it is running only on AC power. Does that make sense? I would not remove the battery even while plugged in to AC power because I don't think it is a good idea to be fumbling with it while it is running. Turn it off first then remove the battery. OK?

If it is on AC power it is not the best idea but OK. If running on battery don't do it. Very hard on components particularly the hard drive. Do it 4 or 5 times and you are likely to corrupt enough data it may not boot.

thanks but I'm not clear.. is it fine if i remove the battery & use the lap straight from the adapter?

from your answer.. is there a difference between lap getting damaged by running from adapter directly & from the battery?
