Can i upgrade ssd or m.2 card

You can replace its  1 TB 5400 rpm SATA HDD with 1TB (or more) 2.5" SSD using Crucial MX500 or Samsung 860EVO series. You may be able to add M,2 SATA SSD to your machine and you would need following parts

 

  • Solid-state drive bracket part # L20458-001
  • Solid-state drive connector board part # L22542-001
  • Solid-state drive cable part # L20456-001

Hi,

Yes, there is an M2 slot and you do not need any additional parts

You can use a super-fast M2 PCIe NVMe SSD such as the Samsung 970 Evo Plus or the Corsair MP510. You will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD for amazing performance gain.

On page 39 of the service manual, you can see how to remove the bottom cover to take a look and to install the M2 SSD.
