HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everybody,

I got a question to my HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs0xxx. Im thinking about upgrading my ssd ( intel-ssd-600p ). Its still working perfectly but i feel like the system could be faster over all and i already have 16GB of ram which is the maximum as far as i know. Is it worth to buy an ssd with better read/write values? In another thread i read about not using NVMe regarding the GPU performance. I don`t really need my GPU just trying to get my system a bit faster.

Firstly: Please edit your post and remove your machine s/n

For YOUR security reason, please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n) on Internet.

Your machine actually is an HP Pavilion - 15-cs0005ng, its specs

It already has good M.2 drive (512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD) why you want to spend money for getting nearly nothing ?

Regards.

Manual says

Dual storage configurations (select products only😞   - pre-built machines

  • 256-GB, PCIe, value, solid-state drive + 1-TB, 5400-rpm, 7.2 mm hard drive
  • 256-GB, SATA, TLC, solid-state drive + 1-TB, 5400-rpm, 7.2 mm hard drive
  • 128-GB, SATA, TLC, solid-state drive + 2-TB, 5400-rpm, 7.2 mm hard drive
  • 128-GB, SATA, TLC, solid-state drive + 1-TB, 5400-rpm, 7.2 mm hard drive
  • 128-GB, SATA, TLC, solid-state drive + 500-GB, 5400-rpm, 7.0 mm hard drive

What is the model/product of your machine ? It may not has M.2 slot to support intel-ssd-600p.

Regards.

Hi Banhien

I`ve got an HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs0xxx  ( Productnumber: 4AX07EA#ABD / serial number: [personal info removed])

Just to be clear the laptop came with an Intel ssd-600p (Intel SSDPEKKf512g7h)  which is actually my only hard drive.

I also did a Benchmark with Samsung Magician and all values are alright.

My question is can i swap this model with a faster one?

Oh didn`t know serialnumber is sensitive data.

Ok so it is not worth. Thank you for the answer.
