Product: HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 (2J4W0AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have tried plugging in my Dock Station G5 but my laptop does not detect the device. Does anybody know if there is a compatibility issue? or is it something else?

What is your PC 15-e2000 (2J4W0AV)  ? It could be one of the following machines

 

                https://support.hp.com/lv-en/product/hp-15.6-inch-laptop-pc-15-e2000/2100372089/model/2100376552/pro...

 

For example:       HP Laptop 15-ef2025nr

 

All machines on the above list ARE NOT compatible with HP USB-C G5 dock.
