Is my HP Compaq 8100 Elite computer compatible with r5 240 or r7 250?

Hola amigos, alguien me puede decir si la HP Compaq 8100 Elite MT soporta tarjetas amd radeon r5 240 o r7 250? es que he visto que en algunos pc hp bloquearon la bios para que no puedan poner ninguna tarjeta, solo
vende la de ellos

Your PC has a legacy BIOS, and both the AMD Radeon R5 240 or the Radeon R7 250 graphics cards generally require a PC that has a UEFI BIOS in order to work.

It has nothing to do with the BIOS being locked to only allow specific HP graphics cards.

Normally, only older graphics cards that work with a legacy BIOS are supported in your PC.

However, I did look up your PC in the User Benchmark website and there are people that have installed graphics cards such as the newer AMD RX580 in the 8100 Elite CMT and reported it worked.

You can also see that newer Nvidia GT graphics cards work such as the GT 710 or GT 1030.

So, based on the info reported in the UserBenchmark website, both the AMD Radeon R5 240 or the Radeon R7 250 graphics cards should work.
