Hello there! I was just wanting to know if this laptop (HP 250 G6 - 1WY24EA) has removable RAM? It currently has 4gb (Which im sure you guys already know haha) and i was wanting to swap it out for a 8GB? I saw a post for a similar model but wanted to check that i could change it on this exact model. P.s: Does it matter what 8GB RAM i use or can it only be specific ones?
Thanks, Chris

Thank you for your post and welcome to HP Forums.
I understand you are facing issue with the Memory Upgradtion.
Here is the complete discription of the memory which you can go with.
so depeding on the processor you can select the memory.
also you can use any RAM of 8GB but make sure to have the same confifguration as menmtioned in the specs.

Here's the Manual:
2 different versions of the 250 G6. One has an Intel Core 6th or 7th gen processor and one has the Pentium N or Celeron N series processor. The Intel Core has 2 memory slots and can accept up to 16 gigs of DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM by way of a pair of 8 gig modules and the Pentium/Celeron has a single slot and takes DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM maximum 8 gigs.
What processor is your model and we can nail this down?

The spare for DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM is 693374-005 and the spare for DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM is 862398-855
