Hi there,
I have HP victus & window 11. When I log in i see this 'smart hard disk error. '

"the smart hard disk check has detected an imminent failure. to ensure no data loss. please backup....."

Also I did the system test. it shows Test failed on SSD smart check, SSD short dst check, SSD long dst check. but memory extensive check & SSD optimized DST check is passed.

So my ssd is gone?
also I face sometime screen flickering issue. I asked gpt about it. it says it could be because of failing ssd.

Please help thankyou

There is a list of diagnostic tools for various SSD manufacturers here

It appears you need to replace your SSD.

and
Click here for world-wide contact info
Or contact the closest authorized service center

If you provide your product ID or the exact HP model,  possibly I could recommend a replacement and a video that shows disassembly.

Using the windows command prompt, please run the following command and report back what it reveals if you want help.

wmic diskdrive get model, size, mediaType, status

for example

If you have powershell then run it from the administrators command prompt to get better information including the health:

 powershell Get-PhysicalDisk

This AI has good advice

Unless I am mistaken the "Hea.." is for the health.  Is that correct?  If so the the OS may be the problem and not the drive.  See if the SFC tool helps.

You might try the Western Digital diagnostic tool.

Possibly it can find a firmware update for your SN810 ssd.  HP also has firmware updates for SSD's that ship  with the laptop.  What is the laptop model?  Go here and enter your serial number and see if there is a western digital firmware update for windows.
