Wanted to get the new God of war for pc but minimum garphic is 4GB so trying to upgrade my graphics card with egpu compatible with my envy laptop. I have type c for egpu

Notice the lightning sign also present on the port next to it? Means HP Sleep and Charge. Thunderbolt is a bigger lightning bolt. Don't shoot the messenger I did not design it that way and recognize its confusing. There is no way to swap a video card in as the video system is some chips soldered to the motherboard. Your model series may have a motherboard with slightly better graphics but not up to the level of gaming you are likely wanting and at a very high price.
