Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to know that either my laptop HP Notebook - 15-ay009ne (ENERGY STAR) supports M2 SSD drive 256GB or not? I want to upgrade my laptop with M2 SSD. If it has so, which one M2 SSD is best for this Notebook with how much GB?

Hi:

 

Since your notebook did not come with a M.2 SSD, there is no M.2 board that has the slot to install one.

You can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

 

It will perform just as well as a SATA M.2 SSD and that is all your notebook would have supported if it had the optional parts to install a M.2 drive.
