I ordered the 970 Evo Plus Samsung SSD and I would like to know if it is compatible with my notebook.

Is the speed the same as the rated speed?

You can use Crucial P2 series M.2 SSD's (compatible guaranteed) which are similar to Samsung 970EVO series

         https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p2-ssd


Or similar from reputable vendors.
