Product: HP Envy 17T
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have had my Envy 17T since 2014. I had the hinges repaired in 2016 under warranty. They broke again in 2017 or 2018 and I applied an epoxy fix that has worked well until now. I'm now looking to replace my laptop to get more modern features. This has been a good laptop except for the hinge problem.
I've seen that HP has redesigned their hinges in the past year.I'm wondering of this redesign is more reliable/effective in preventing the broken hinge problem a lot of us have seen. Does anyone have any feedback on the new hinge design?
Thanks!!
