Operating System: Linux

I want to replace my HDD for an SSD. I would like to confirm that the SSD, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB (interface PCIe), is supported by HP 17-x108 Intel Core i5-7200, 16GB, 17.3” HD+ SVA (1600x900) WLED  (model W7D66UAR#ABL).

It does not have M.2 slot for NVMe SSD's. Its manual
