HP Pavilion g6-2235us Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi, I've been working on my nephew's laptop since last yesterday as of this posted question, which is:

Does anyone know if the memory and storage space (Hard Drive) for the HP Pavilion g6-2235us Notebook PC is upgradable and what's the maximum amount of memory can it have and it's memory is upgradable, what's are the usable memory speeds and type does the memory chips needs to be? I'm asking because my nephew says he wants to use it for his podcasting.

It's specifications are as follows:

HP Pavilion g6-2235us Notebook PC
Product Number: C2N50UA#ABA
Serial Number: [Personal Information Removed]
Microprocessor: AMD A6-4400M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
System Memory: 4GB Hynix 1600MHz
System Board: 1849 57.2E
System BIOS: F.12
Storage: Hitachi HTS547575A9E384 SATA Disk Device - 698.64 GB

Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit

During my research, I the following website:

https://www.memorystock.com/memory/HewlettPackardPaviliong62235us.html

Is the information on that website accurate?

I should also add that this laptop appears to have just 1 memory slot but it could possibly be slot 2 is unused. I've got all this information after installing the Support Assistant on the laptop. I've also tried looking in the manual for this specific laptop but it doesn't say anything in regards to upgrading memory or the hard drive.
