Hello im planning on upgrading my HP omen but i have to make sure that the parts Are compatible i want to buy a Patriot scorch SSD 128GB And put it into my HP omen 15-dc0014nc the 2018 version with 8 gb ram gtx 1050 And an i5. Is the SSD compatible with my laptop?

Hi,

Yes, that will be compatible. You can use any M2 PCIe NVMe SSD which will give a great boost to the everyday performance of the PC. You can also get of your desired capacity, there is no limit.

Ob page 39 of service manual you can see the steps to install the drive

You can then reinstall the OS by creating a bootable pendrive from Microsoft

and install HP support assistant for drivers and more
