Hi,
Which HP wizard can help?
I have regrettably purchased the HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (277G5AU) (specifically the 15s-fq2037na variant).
The keyboard is awful, slim grey lettering on silver keys that are so difficult to see and use, additionally so due to the glare/shine they give off from any light. A total design fault. A shame as HP used to be a good make, I guess things are changing.
I thought it was only my experience as a wearer of glasses however looking into it online, it's a common theme but no solutions other than awful stickers to put on the keys or buy a really expensive model, about £300+ more.
Unfortunately it's too late to return the laptop and I'm on a budget. Using an external keyboard isn't practical.
Is there a way to replace the silver keyboard keys or entire keyboard top with either;
1) Minimum - Black keys with white lettering.
2) Ideally - Backlit, Black keys with white lettering.
I have seen within the Maintenance and Service Guide there are replacement keyboards and their reference numbers, but nothing in black, only grey, white and the original silver.
I don't know if the HP black laptops use the same keyboards and if they did, which one would be a compatible replacement part?
Thank you to anyone who can help!
