Is it possible to add a dedicated gpu to HP notebook 15-db1100ny? Im asking here since it didnt say much in the notebook details. If it is possible, any recommendations for a gpu?

Hi:

 

The GPU Is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

 

There are no slots to add one.

 

The only way to upgrade the graphics would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with better graphics.

 

You would also have to buy the correct heat sink for the motherboard you install.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC

 

It would probably cost more to upgrade the graphics in your PC than to buy a new one that already comes with a newer processor and better graphics.
