Is there a way to controll fan speed

Hello, 

is there a way to controll fan speed on my elite G9. 

Mobo: HP model: 8ABB v: KBC Version 20.06.00 serial: PQSPP00WBGQ2S9 UEFI: HP
v: U71 Ver. 01.02.04 date: 05/23/2022

I am on 33°C  in idle state and these is - I guess the breakpoint for the fan as there its going on. 
So its a permanent ON/OFF. 2-3 times a minute.  I also couldnt find a BIOS setting. And my linux says

"There are no pwm-capable sensor modules installed"

Its really bad/sad. 

Is there a way to fix this?

The fan behavior sounds like something the latest BIOS might fix. Similar issue was described on Reddit - [content removed] - and apparently greatly improved with a BIOS update. It's a different model but I suppose it's worth a shot for 860 too.

rofoun is 100% correct. This issue has already been addressed with the latest BIOS version update that went online one month ago. You can look at the relevant threads and see that it actually makes a difference:

The new BIOS version includes YOUR 860 G9 laptop, so you are therefore advised to update if you want to improve the fan speed algorithm.....

With UBUNTU you'd have to update the BIOS either from the UEFI settings OR by downloading the BIOS update exe and creating a USB disk.
